At Westshore E.M.R, we offer an expert-led CPR and AED Certification program designed to provide essential life-saving skills for individuals in any environment. This comprehensive course is suitable for both professionals and the general public, including healthcare providers, teachers, parents, workplace employees, and community members.
Our CPR & AED certification course focuses on the following key areas:
Adult and Pediatric CPR: Participants will learn how to perform high-quality CPR on adults, children, and infants, following the latest guidelines established by health authorities.
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Use: Learn how to properly operate an AED, a critical tool in treating sudden cardiac arrest. Participants will gain hands-on experience in identifying shockable rhythms and using the AED to save lives.
Choking Relief: Instruction on how to recognize and respond to choking emergencies in adults, children, and infants.
Team-Based Resuscitation: Emphasizing teamwork during CPR, especially in professional settings where multiple responders may be involved.
Our course integrates theory with practical application, ensuring participants are confident in using these life-saving techniques in real-world emergencies. Participants engage in scenario-based training, allowing them to practice CPR, AED use, and choking relief in controlled, supervised settings. The hands-on training is complemented by detailed instructional videos, simulations, and discussions.
Upon successful completion, participants receive a CPR & AED certification that is valid for two years, adhering to the standards of the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), and the Health and Safety Institute (HSI). This certification is highly regarded by employers, healthcare providers, and organizations, making it a valuable credential for those in high-risk or public-facing roles.
At Westshore E.M.R, we are committed to ensuring that our participants leave with the knowledge and confidence to act swiftly and effectively in emergency situations. With flexible scheduling and expert instruction, we make it easier for you to access the training necessary to save lives.
